Intention Activates Your Life's Purpose

Oftentimes, we are faced with the difficult task of having to determine which path to take in life, but the answer is almost never clear, so our decision is shrouded in confusion.

Examples of the Hero's Journey surround us everywhere we go. Think of Star Wars, The Matrix, & and The Lord of the Rings. In these stories, we have characters who are summoned by the Call of Destiny to pursue a purpose and mission that would save the world from doom.

Whether the protagonists knew their missions from the onset, or they were thrust into adventure without complete knowledge of what was happening, they still emerged as Heroes.

Real life isn't as dramatic or serendipitous. Most likely, you are not going go to work someday and receive a mysterious phone call from Morpheus, your father isn't Darth Vader, and there are no magical rings that will give you unimaginable power.

Oftentimes, you start off your journey without a clear understanding of what you need to accomplish in order to live a purposeful life. You wake up, shower, eat breakfast, go to work, socialize a bit afterwards, and then come back home to repeat it all over the next day.

You usually have an inkling of what you need to accomplish in life, but that hunch is often distracted by the deluge of other responsibilities you have.

Suddenly, you realize that you are just going through the motions of life instead of truly living it in such a way that you are actually activating your full potential.

And then everything falls apart.

Something feels missing.

How do you get back on the grind and become the Hero you were meant to be?

You do so through INTENT.

When nothing seems clear, when there is confusion everywhere, your INTENTION to make things orderly and purposeful will activate the higher faculties in your mind and soul.

By exercising INTENT, by demanding of yourself that you live a life of purpose, then the very actions you take from that point onward BECOME Purposeful.

Even when the path seems confusing, demand of yourself that you are exercising your purpose to the best of your intent.

Someday, looking back, you will realize that the intentionality mixed with action helped you create an extraordinary life, one of Heroes and Legends.

Greatness is awarded not to those who live passively, but those who demand Purpose through Intention and Action.
